One Happy Cowboy!

well about $100.00 dollars later, carson is finally potty trained!! he came across some john wayne westers dave bought last year. every day he insists on watching one. so for 2 or so hours he'll sit mesmerized watching his "cowboy" movie. he had mentioned he wanted some cowboys boats. i make a chart and after 6 stickers (one sticker for #1/two stickers for #2) i told him i would go buy him some boots. well....................one day later i am at saba's western store buying boots and a cowboy hat. it has been 2 1/2 weeks now and he has only had 2 accidents. good job carson! he also ended up with a holster w/gun. he wore his boots 2weeks straight. he would get mad at me if i took them off at night when he was sleeping. last week he insisted he wear his cowboy attire to church: boots, hat, holster and guns. i told him we don't take guns to church he then said "well, i will go to my OWN church that has guns"- so, into sacrament meeting (i won't mentioned dave and all the other boys were sitting on the 2nd row, no not from the back, the front) we went. he had a huge smile on his face and not to mention smiles on everyone else's face in sacrament meeting who saw us walk in a few minutes late. i told my self 20 years from now, no one will remember i let my son take 3 guns to church and if they do, it should bring a smile to their face, right??

austin, trevor, and dallin all recived places in thier running club meet. it was a happy day because they all left with a ribbon. dallin by far had the biggest smile on his face. he ran his little heart out. he told me this morning he wasn't going to stop at all durning the race to walk because he wanted a ribbon! a determined little boy. go barney boys!!

Happy Birthday! Trevor!

today is trevor's 8th birthday. in fact he is exactly 8 years old, he was born at 3:58 pm. this is a special year for trevor because he is getting baptized, on valentine's day. trevor is a great son, brother and friend.

Braden get his 1st haircut!

last night our little chunka munka a.k.a. braden got his first haircut. we usually wait until their 1st birthday to give them their 1st hair cut. austin and carson were born with so much hair we couldn't wait. austin was 9months and carson was 6months when dave cut their hair. dave is our barber!! whoo--can't imagine paying for 6 boys to get their hair cut every other month. we were eating dinner and i said 3 ladies this past week said "what a cute girl you have". no he wasn't dressed pink he was dressed in blue all 3 times! dave said that is it he is getting a haircut tonight. so his baby look is officially gone! welcome big boy!
